Beach Volleyball World Tour is the volleyball competition that’s held by FIVB organization. The tour consists of 1-Star tournaments (27 events), 2-Star tournaments (8 events), 3-Star tournaments (5 events), 4-Star tournaments (12 events), 5-Star tournaments (3 events) as well as the Word Tour Finals.

Today, we’ll talk you through the 2020 FIVB Men’s Beach Volleyball World Tour. We’ll walk you through the tour and highlight the most important moments of the 2019-2020 beach volleyball season.

The 2020 FIVB Men’s Beach Volleyball World Tour started in the beginning of October in 2019 and continues these days. The FIVB men’s beach volleyball world tour is going to end in September 2020. However, the competition is likely to be prolonged due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The current medal statistics shows the following: Australia has won 1 Gold medal; Austria has won 2 Silver medals; Denmark has won 1 Silver medal; Germany has won 1 Bronze medal; Thailand has won 1 Gold medal; Switzerland has won 1 Gold medal; Sweden has won 1 Silver medal as well as 1 Bronze medal; Italy has won 1 Gold medal as well as 1 Bronze medal; The Netherlands has won 1 Silver medal; Poland has won 3 Gold medals; Russia has won 1 Silver medal as well as 2 Bronze medals; The USA has won 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal as well as 2 Bronze medals; Iran has won 1 Gold medal, 2 Silver medals as well as 2 Bronze medals; Mexico has won 1 Silver medal and New Zeeland has won 1 Gold medal at the 2020 FIVB men’s beach volleyball world tour.

The Tournaments of the 2020 FIVB Men’s Beach Volleyball World Tour

The 2020 FIVB Men’s Beach Volleyball World Tour started with Bandar Torkaman tournament. The tournament took place in Iran. The event started on October 1 and lasted till October 4 in 2019. The pair from the Thailand (Nuttanon Inkiew and Sedtawat Padsawud) took the 1-st place, the pair from Iran (Alireza Aghajani and Javad Firouzpour) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Iran (Bahman Salemi and Arash Vakili) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Japan (Takashi Tsuchiya and Hitoshi Murakami) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Qinzhou Open tournament took place in China. The event started on October 30 and lasted till November 3 in 2019. The pair from Switzerland (Adrian Heidrich and Mirco Gerson) took the 1-st place, the pair from Austria (Martin Ermacora and Moritz Pristauz) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Russia (Valeriy Samoday and Igor Velichko) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Russia (Ruslan Bykanov and Alexander Likholetov) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Tel Aviv Open tournament took place in Israel. The event started on November 6 and lasted till November 9 in 2019. The pair from Italy (Samuele Cottafava and Jakob Windisch) took the 1-st place, the pair from Denmark (Martin Hansen and Daniel Thomsen) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Russia (Sergey Prokopyev and Aleksandr Kramarenko) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Israel (Sean Faiga and Netanel Ohana) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Aspire Cup Doha tournament took place in Qatar. The event started on November 12 and lasted till November 15 in 2019. The pair from Poland (Jędrzej Brożyniak and Piotr Janiak) took the 1-st place, the pair from Russia (Petr Bakhnar and Yury Bogatov) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Sweden (David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Oman (Nouh Al-Jalbubi and Mazin Al-Hashmi) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Chetumal Open tournament took place in Mexico. The event started on November 13 and lasted till November 17 in 2019. The pair from the USA (Taylor Crabb and Jake Gibb) took the 1-st place, the pair from the Netherlands (Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen) took the 2-nd place, the pair from the USA (Trevor Crabb and Tri Bourne) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Germany (Alexander Walkenhorst and Sven Winter) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Dargahan Cup tournament took place in Iran. The event started on January 7 and lasted till January 10 in 2020. The pair from Iran (Alireza Aghajani and Javad Firouzpour) took the 1-st place, the pair from Iran (Bahman Salemi and Arash Vakili) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Iran (Rahman Raoufi and Abolhamed Mirzaali) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Qatar (Benlouaer Ziad and Saifeddine Elmajid) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

VolleyFest Cook Islands tournament took place in Avagua. The event started on January 14 and lasted till January 17 in 2020. The pair from New Zealand (Griffin Muller and Sam O’Dea) took the 1-st place, the pair from the United States (Christopher Austin and Earl Schultz) took the 2-nd place, the team from the United States (Adam Roberts and Travis Mewhirter) took the 3-rd place and team from Japan (Takashi Tsuchiya and Hitoshi Murakami) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Anchor Beach Volleyball Carnival tournament took place in Cambodia. The event started on February 20 and lasted till February 23 in 2020. The pair from Australia (Christopher McHugh and Damien Schumann) took the 1-st place, the pair from Austria (Christoph Dressler and Alexander Huber) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Germany (Robin Sowa and Lukas Pfretzschner) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Austria (Florian Schnetzer and Laurenz Leitner) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Katara Beach Volleyball Cup tournament took place in Qatar. The event started on March 9 and lasted till March 13 in 2020. The pair from Poland (Michał Bryl and Grzegorz Fijałek) took the 1-st place, the pair from Mexico (Josue Gaxiola and Jose Luis Rubio) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Italy (Paolo Nicolai and Daniele Lupo) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Brazil (Evandro Oliveira and Bruno Oscar Schmidt) took the 4-th place in the tournament.

Langkawi Open tournament took place in Malaysia. The event started on March 11 and lasted till March 15 in 2020. The pair from Poland (Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak) took the 1-st place, the pair from Sweden (Martin Johansson and Martin Johansson) took the 2-nd place, the pair from Chinese Taipei (Wang Chin-ju and Hsieh Ya-jen) took the 3-rd place and the pair from Thailand (Dunwinit Kaewsai and Prathip Sukto) took the 4-th place in the tournament.
